Happy happy Easter

Started out as a busy day, with an early morning rise with 2 excited girls who were too anxious to see what the Easter bunny had brought them this year. They rushed down the stairs and saw 2 basket full of stuff, and their faces lit up! Easter egg hunt was exciting this year, with Emily much more aware of what to do. They found all 65 eggs. We then had breakfast, and the 3 girls were busy in the bathroom trying to get all dressed up for the Easter day service at the church. Church was awesome with a great message about how God is in control of our lives, even in those times when we are feeling completely out of control. Jesus, who has risen from the dead, is all mighty, and all powerful, and so why shouldn't we trust our lives in him? What a great, powerful message it was!
Then we came home and I proceeded to make a nice Easter feast, but the turkey didn't turn out all that great.. Oh well, I will just make turkey soup with it.

Ryan's surgery date is coming up this wednesday.. Thank you to ALL of you who've cared! We appreciate all of your sincere words of love, advice and your thoughtful prayers. Please continue to pray for the successful outcome of his back surgery!
April 7th, 8 am, Avista Adventist Hospital, Louisville, CO.

Love you all,
